BMR Rocket Chris Harris finished as top scorer for Great Britain as the Lions just missed out on World Cup Bronze in the Final in Leszno, Poland.

“Bomber” was responsible for 7 of Britain’s 15 points, as his side were edged out of third spot by Russia, who finished on 18.

At the other end of the scale, hosts Poland successfully defended their title with 50 points, 8 ahead of runners-up Sweden.

One consolation for Bomber was that he broke Peter Collins all-time record for appearances in the competition as he moved to 25, also taking his career points total for the Lions in the event to a record 248.5.
